Mila & James
A Garden Full of Friends
Mila and James married in the garden where James grew up, surrounded by roses his mother planted decades ago. The guest list was full of old friends, and the whole day felt like a reunion with a wedding in the middle.

How the day unfolded

Friends arrived early to help hang lanterns and arrange flowers in jam jars. Nobody was in a hurry, and the morning had the easy rhythm of a long weekend.
The ceremony was led by their oldest friend under a simple arch of greenery. Children ran between the chairs, a dog barked during the vows, and nobody minded at all.
In the afternoon, guests spread out across the lawn with drinks in hand. Some of my favourite photographs from the day are the small ones: a hand on a shoulder, a shared joke at the edge of the frame, two grandparents dancing slowly by the flower beds.
